The first two days of March we are celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday. Start looking now for Read Across America events that may be occurring in your neighborhood on March 2 to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday.

This is what you’ll need this week

Ten Apples Up on Top by Theo. LeSieg

  • Check this book out of the library.
  • White cardstock
  • Apple counting cards (Print the cards on the white cardstock. Click here for download.)
  • Clear Contact paper

Materials you’ll need for optional activities

  • Counting books
  • Stackable objects
  • Camera
  • 10 Apples

Fox in Socks by Dr. Seuss

  • Check this book out of the library
  • Socks
  • Laundry basket or other basket/box

Materials you’ll for optional activities

  • Clothespins
  • Patterned paper
  • Ruler or Legos

      Glad you found it. The materials for the next week will come out every Saturday. You can get all of the materials at Walmart.
